Get the comprehensive inspection capabilities you need for larger pipes with the CUES SoLID FX (SFX). This multisensor inspection system (MSI) delivers detailed inspection data for various aspects of your operations.Â
The Ultimate Multisensor Inspection System
The SoLID FX is a single, sophisticated inspection device that incorporates three powerful sensors to capture what’s above and below the waterline, along with visual context. Create a high-density dataset for your pipelines.Â
Travel up to 3,000 ft (914 m) using the CUES Steerable MudMaster crawler, or reach up to 5,400 ft (1,646 m) with the CUES SoLID FX FLOAT.
Automatically clears water droplets and debris from the camera and LiDAR lenses, helping prevent data loss and interpolation errors.
Clearly displays debris levels and available pipe capacity to support more effective maintenance and rehabilitation planning.
Expert Partnership for Advanced Inspection Technology
When you invest in CUES profiling technology, you want a partner that can help you use it to its fullest potential. At MTech, we provide the level of support you need, including:
We’re the largest CUES dealer in the world and can support you across Ohio, Michigan, Western Pennsylvania, Indiana and Kentucky.
Available in Ohio, Michigan, West PA, Kentucky and Indiana
LiDAR, SONAR and Live HD CCTV on a Single Platform
The profiling system works well for pipes 24 inches in diameter or above. Why choose the CUES SoLID FX?
The video is captured by CUES GraniteNet, and teams can perform virtual panning, tilting and zooming. They can also view footage later in the office. The LiDAR is independent of the camera, enabling operators to view laterals, open joints, holes and more. Both the camera and LiDAR have lens-clearing systems to remove debris from lenses and eliminate the need for data interpolation. The HD SONAR captures debris levels and pipe capacity data.Â
Operators can deploy it on the CUES Steerable MudMaster crawler or an SFX FLOAT. The crawler is ideal for navigating pipes with deep mud, sand, heavy debris or high flow. It works for partial submergence and above-waterline inspection. The SFX FLOAT works well for fully or partially submerged pipelines. The whole system runs on a CUES Gold Cable for simplified management.
For Highly Detailed Analysis
The combined power of three inspection technologies in one system provides data visualization that can support various tasks, including:
Detailed condition assessments:Â The 2D data can help detect structural defects and operational issues above and below the waterline. The system can also map internal pipe features.Â
Rehabilitation planning:Â 3D measurements of internal geometry can help design and plan trenchless rehabilitation solutions, such as Cured-In-Place Pipe lining, which require an exact fit.
Hydraulic capacity:Â Underwater data collected by SONAR can help quantify sediment and debris accumulation, which can impact the pipe’s flow capacity.
Asset management:Â The rich dataset operators collect enables utilities to build detailed records of pipeline infrastructure, helping predict failures and prioritize maintenance.Â
